Welcome to AfrocaEat. This policy explains how AfrocaEat Inc. collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you visit our platform (AfrocaEat.ca, AfrocaEat.fr, AfrocaEat.com) and use our third-party integrations, specifically the TikTok Developer API.

2. Information Collection & TikTok Integration

We collect personal data you provide directly when registering (name, restaurant address, email, phone) to provide food ordering and delivery services. TikTok API Integration: When you choose to link your TikTok account to your AfrocaEat dashboard using the TikTok Login Kit, we strictly collect only the data authorized by the user.info.basic scope. This is limited to: - Your TikTok OpenID (a unique technical identifier). - Your TikTok Display Name. - Your TikTok Avatar (Profile Picture). Note: We do not have access to, nor do we collect or store, your TikTok password.

3. Data Use and Content Posting

The basic information collected is used to process orders, facilitate deliveries, manage payments, and securely link your social account to your AfrocaEat merchant dashboard. TikTok Video Uploads: We request the video.upload scope (via the Content Posting API) solely to empower you, the restaurant partner, to publish videos of your culinary creations directly from the AfrocaEat platform to your own TikTok profile. We do not use this access to post automated, unauthorized content. Your TikTok data is securely stored and is never shared, sold, or rented to any third parties.

4. Data Retention, Revocation, and Deletion

We retain your data only for as long as your AfrocaEat account is active or as required by law for accounting purposes. You maintain full control over your data and social connections at all times: - Revoking TikTok Access: You can disconnect AfrocaEat from your TikTok account at any time by opening your TikTok app and navigating to Settings and privacy > Security > Manage app permissions, and removing AfrocaEat's access. - Data Deletion: You may request the immediate and permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data (including all data retrieved via the TikTok API). To execute this, click the 'Delete Account' button within your AfrocaEat profile settings, or email us directly at support@afrocaeat.com with the subject 'Data Deletion Request'. All data will be permanently erased from our servers within 7 days.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our platform and hold certain information to improve your experience and secure your session.

You have the right to access, rectify, or request the deletion of your personal data under applicable data protection laws (including GDPR, CCPA, and PIPEDA).
